participated in the Boston Fashion Week 2009,
Emerging Trends. Located at the Castle in Boston,
MA. Skylier was very excited and honored to be asks
to show her pre-teen, junior and missy Couture Party
dress Collection and Faux Fur Handbag Collection.
Skylier was the only selected designer from
California, other inspiring designer were from the
Boston area, New York and London. There was 15
designers in all. The Skylier Wear Collection open
the show and Keith Lissner of the Bravo TV Show-
Project Runway close the show.

Skylier Wear Collection Is a diversified private label
design company providing stand -out apparel and
accessory collections for pre-teens, juniors and
women’s market. Skylier Blanchard-Crowder is the
owner and designer for the Skylier Wear Collection,
an Oakland – based fashion label offering diverse
apparel and accessory products. She has shown a
passion for promoting the economic growth of
Oakland for the past 20 years and has worked with
many city officials and business developers to
generate innovative ideas for the community.
